MY DAILY ITCH BLOG
Hi.
This is January 1, 2013 and my time to say what's on my mind. Today my topic is one I've been preaching to my kids all their lives. Most news programs are just someone else's opinions and not really news. Watch any big news story and you get dozens of opinions of what's going on. At any accident you will get ten different opinions on what's going on from ten different people. What makes news casters any different-nothing. There is some things that are true like it's raining or there were two people involved but most of the rest of it is what people think happened. Don't take what is on the news for facts because most of it is fiction. It makes for great writing materials though.
I never knew what's going on while growing up. We listened to radio but alot of what was being said was hard to put to pictures so we ignored it. The first news story I remember seeing on the black and white was President Kennedy's funeral. It was on for three days and was repeated over and over again. After awhile you felt sorry for the president because he got shot at least once every two hours.
I do wish that the "news" media would actually get their story straight before they give it to us. I feel bad for the people who really believe the stories that shovel down their throats.
As for my family we learned not to believe everything and question all things.
